Hi. I’m blogging today! Go Me!! Anyway, I am writing because I woke up this morning totally unsure about where I am and what I am doing. I’m just confuzzled about life in general, on a personal and professional level.

On the professional level, though I love being my own boss and thrive off of “the grind,” I have to admit that regular check sounds good right about now. I could live without that catch in my throat that I get a lot of months. While it is true that something always comes through, I’m just kinda tired of paying someone else’s salary, overhead, and expenses and not having anything for myself. I have to make more than $50,000.00 before I can bring a dime home. That’s just some bullshit!

On the personal level, I am literally at the crossroads, and the road I’m currently on has deadended.

Am I woman enough for all of this? We shall see.

Just interrupting this loooonnnnngggg station break to let you guys in on some great news! I was appointed to a defend a murder charge in December of last year. The trial was set to start today. So, why am I blogging right now instead of voir diring the jury???? I am glad you asked. My client is no longer facing a murder charge because they could sense the whuppin’ they were gonna get and dismissed the case.

Take that, take that.

That is what my trip to the dentist cost this morning. Wretched damned teeth!!!

I thought I was gonna get a filling repaired. Instead I needed a crown.

Oh well, sometimes one simply does what has to be did!

As short sleeves become no sleeves, I would like to share a beauty secret that I use to keep my underarms looking smooth and pretty.

The trick to keeping your underarms from looking inflamed and gray with built up deodorant is as follows:

1. Ditch your white film leaving deodorant!! Use clear/invisible deodorant during the summer because no one wants to see your underarm when it looks all white and gooey. Let’s not even mention your clothing. YUCK!

2. Avoid hair bumps!! Do not shave the underarm hair if you are prone to developing ingrown hairs. The market is full of no-shave hair removal products.

3. Exfoliate the underarms!! Use a scrub to exfoliate the skin once a week. After cleansing the underarms, apply the scrub to the area and rub in a circular motion, and rinse. Sugar is preferable. Use salt at your own risk.

Easy, peasy, pretty underarms. You may thank me later.

The Obama’s have a new dog, specifically, a Portuguese Water Dog. He’s a really cute puppy.

The fact that they have gotten the dog is really not “news” to me, though. I’m like, “What’s the biggy? People get dogs erryday.” However, I understand the Obama fascination so, I will allow people continue to discuss it for the next second. Okay. Times up! LOL

The story to me is that the Obama’s named their dog Bo even though Biden’s son is called Bo. LOL. I would feel weird doing that, ya know? I just couldn’t imagine naming my dog Kennedy because my bestie’s daughter is named that. Truth is, I KNOW that she wouldn’t like it! LOL

I kinda wish that I didn’t have those (self-imposed) constraints and restrictions! Could you do that?

That Bernie Madoff goes straight to jail today.  And, that his greedy, lying wife follows him very shortly.  The nerve!!!

Mommie Dearest called tonight with news of a church member in distress.  Apparently, the lady’s son has been wrongfully accused of stealing another man’s goats and they desparately need to talk to a lawyer.  Specifically, they want to talk to this lawyer, tonight.  Yeah.  It’s time to change my number again.  I will miss my mother.

I had guests down from Memphis this weekend and a good time was had by all.  My friends came down to help me make soap.  These are the results:
